The Dingle –
Secluded Cottage with Expansive Gardens – Perfect for Dogs and Children
Enjoy a peaceful stay at our secluded cottage, surrounded by large open gardens that wrap around the property. While the gardens are not fully fenced, they offer plenty of space for dogs and children to explore — including a charming sunken wood (please supervise little ones due to a steep drop) and a fruitful orchard. Guests are welcome to help themselves to ripe apples from the trees during the season!
After a refreshing walk with your dog, especially in the cooler months, return to the cosy lounge and warm up by the open fire. There’s plenty of firewood available for guests to use.

Nestled into the rolling hills of the Sussex South Downs National Park The George is just off the beaten track in the small village of Eartham. A traditional English pub, it provides a comfortable and welcoming place to visit whatever the season. There are three open fires for those cool autumn and winter evenings and a pretty garden to sit out in on bright summer days. There is a selection of good walks and cycle routes in this area.
