Property Description
East Pallant House is a beautiful Georgian property located in the heart of Chichester yet in a quiet residential area. East Pallant Group Accommodation makes an ideal base and sleeping 18, it lends itself to large celebrations – family occasions, group get togethers, quiet hen parties, corporate events, business use, city breaks, Christmas, reunions and even golfing weekends! We have hosted many occasions and are very happy to assist your group to make your stay memorable.
Beds are made up as listed below but can be changed for the convenience of your group.
Ground Floor:-
There is a large entrance and hallway with a dining room to the right hand side. Inside is a large dining table and chairs. A music room and downstairs TV room is off to the left.
There is a large, well equipped kitchen with electric oven, dishwasher and fridge/freezer. The middle island in the kitchen can also be used as a breakfast bar with stools.
There is a downstairs w.c along with a utility room including washing machine and second fridge.
The back door leads directly to the garden (down a few steps).
First Floor:-
There is a large, second sitting room with T.V and DVD Player overlooking the garden.
Study with desk and chair, pool table and wifi access.
Bedroom 1 – Super king bed (can be split with advanced notice) with en-suite bathroom (roll top bath). Overlooking the garden.
Bedroom 2 – Super king bed (can be split with advanced notice) with en-suite shower room. Overlooks the front of the property.
Bedroom 8 – Super king bed (can be split with advanced notice.) Overlooks the front of the property.
Second Floor:-
Bedroom 3 – Twin bedroom (can be put together with a super king topper with advance notice) with en-suite shower room. Overlooking the garden.
Bedroom 4 – Super king bed (can be split with advanced notice) with en-suite shower room. Overlooks the front of the property.
Bedroom 5 – Super king bed (can be split with advanced notice) Overlooking the front of the property.
Bedroom 6 – Super king bed (can be split with advanced notice) and single bed. Overlooking front of the property.
Bedroom 7 – Super king bed (can be split with advanced notice) and single bed. Overlooking the back garden.
Outside:-
There is a patio area with table and chairs and BBQ leading to grassed area. Please note the entrance to the garden is not gated and therefore children will need supervision.

No excessive noise, whether inside the accommodation or in the garden, is permitted between 10 PM and 8 AM.

Outdoor music and use of fireworks are not permitted at any time.

You are very welcome to enjoy the garden and patio, but we kindly ask that these areas are vacated by 10 PM out of respect for our neighbours.

Location:
Our East Pallant Group Accommodation House is situated in a very quiet residential quarter of Chichester.
Ideally located only a few minutes walk from the city centre, it offers easy access to the many shops, bars, restaurants and cafes that Chichester has to offer. The Cathedral city includes the acclaimed Chichester Festival Theatre, modern art, and lots of history.
Chichester train station offers connections to London Victoria in just 90 minutes, and once you arrive, there are plenty of places to explore on local bus routes.
The location of the townhouse offers incredibly convenient access to the South Downs countryside, events at Goodwood and to the stunning South Coast – Pagham Beach is just a 25 minute drive away and the renowned dunes of West Wittering a 35 minute drive.
The Goodwood Estate is just 10 minutes drive, which offers a myriad of events throughout the season including motor-racing (Goodwood Festival of Speed, Goodwood Revival & Members Meetings) and horse-racing. There are buses and many taxi companies operating in the area, please do not hesitate to contact us if you need any help in organising this.
If you fancy a round of golf the Chichester Golf Club is a 12 minute drive away and offers indoor and outdoor adventure golf as well as their tower and cathedral courses for the keen golfer!
Chichester boasts many beautiful parks, some of which with play equipment for children. Oaklands Park, Priory Park and Bishops Palace Gardens are all a short walk away and offer stunning views of this historic city.
The city walls walk which encircle the Chichester and the cathedral are great if you like to soak up the history of the city.
Chichester canal is a 10 minute walk away and from here you can either walk, bike or take a boat trip through to Chichester Marina.
Pallant Gallery is also a lovely place to visit and is located only a few feet away from the house!
Chichester’s City Gate is an area near the train station which has restaurants, a cinema, trampolining and also bowling.
Guest Access:
A pathway is at the side of the garden which leads to the parking area at the rear of the garden. The parking area is shared with the flats to the side of the house. Residents will use the path to get to and from the building but the garden is for sole use of guests staying at East Pallant House.
Parking:
There is parking for a maximum of 4 cars.
Alternatively, there are 4 public carparks nearby all within a 4 min walk of the property. They are all outdoor, without height restrictions. Long stay carparks which are slightly cheaper are located slightly further afield.
Customers can pay for parking in most car parks using MiPermit. Details of MiPermit and location codes can be found in the car parks on machines and charges boards and also online.

“We had a fantastic stay here with friends. The house is amazing, with loads of room both in terms of common areas (three lounges) and bedrooms, making it a great place for large groups to gather. Even though the house is situated on a nice quiet street, it felt like we had the best of Chichester right on our doorstep, with all kinds of pubs and restaurants just a short walk away. Laura was also a super helpful and accommodating host, quick to communicate with clear instructions. All in all, an excellent experience!”

East Pallant Group Accommodation has bedrooms that were huge, comfortable and clean; the living rooms (3 of them) were great, and we could have the kids in one with the adults in another; the kitchen was very well equipped. The dining room was enormous, and we all sat round the table very very comfortably. The location was incredible – right in the heart of Chichester, which we also loved.
